Overview

Lore is an MIT-licensed open-source command-line coding agent. The source is available at github.com/fayzkk889/lore.

License

Lore is distributed under the MIT License. Your use, modification, copying, and distribution of the software are governed by that license.

Your keys and provider costs

Lore connects directly from your machine to the model provider you configure. You are responsible for protecting provider API keys, choosing models, and paying any provider usage costs.

Local operations

Lore can read files, edit files, run shell commands, create local snapshots, and run verification checks according to your permission settings. Review commands, diffs, and configuration before using Lore on important repositories.

Your code and project data

Your code, local .lore/ wiki, learning documents, snapshots, audit logs, and verification ledgers belong to you. Review local files before publishing a repository.

AI output

AI-generated code can be incorrect, insecure, or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and testing all changes before using them in production.

Acceptable use

• Do not use Lore to create malware, exploit code, or abusive automation.
• Do not publish secrets, private keys, or confidential project data.
• Respect the terms of any model provider you configure.
